I would love to share with you today some pictures (they are not professional taken!) of a kitchen we recently installed in a Belgian castle.
Peculiar to castles are the tall ceilings. This room has a ceiling height of about 4 meters (13 feet).
This kitchen is completely custom made, according to time-honored techniques and traditions.
The kitchen is executed in light stained oak. For the countertops, kitchen cooker wall and floor is chosen for a carrara marble.
All kitchen appliances are built in.

A special thank you goes to our clients Mr and Mrs D. for their confidence in our company and their appreciation for the Belgian craftsmanship.
I wish you all a great start of this new week!
xx

Good morning Greet; I have said it before and Ill say it again, the work your company produces always amazes me. It is so beautiful. What a talented team of artisans you have. I wouldnt mind having that La Cornue myself. I recently looked at that very model in Chicago, but nearly fainted over the salty price tag. Hopefully in your part of the world it is slightly more reasonable. I can't wait to see what you think of our kitchen design which we will show in an upcoming post. I am actually working on it today. Have a great day! -Tonya

Magnificent and the view out the windows is pretty stunning also!
ReplyDeleteI don't even know what to say!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a gift to be able to see images of your design process.
How your artisans assemble the paneling together in your shop before it is installed!
Amazing.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Your husband and employees are true craftsmen. That is a fabulous cookstove and the Carrera marble is so very elegant. I do hope the people who live the castle love to cook, because that kitchen deserves the very best.

Beau travail Greet, bravo à toute l'équipe de Lefèvre Interiors !
ReplyDeleteCette cuisine doit être très agréable, pratique et solide pour longtemps !
J'aime bien la vue de la grande fenêtre sur le paysage...

What a beauty it is! Today of all days I wish your company was closer to Calgary! I discovered that the solid walnut French interior doors I had made are really not so solid.. More like wood hips inside a thicker core of walnut and I am very sad and really feel like I can't trust anyone I hire to do wood work... It is very difficult and I just wish I could hire you!!!!

Just beautiful as always!!!! xo Leslie
ReplyDeletesuch beautiful work executed by master craftsmen. You can be proud of your company! pragtige houtwerk!
ReplyDeleteThis kitchen is dreamy, and the whole blog is very inspiring and helpful. Would you mind telling me what the stain was on the cabinetry? It seems to become more warm and yellow than oak in other kitchens. Very very pretty.
