Hydrangeas on our terrace

A week ago I posted about the hydrangea plants Jan bought for my mother’s day (here). And I promised to post a picture of their final destination.

Yesterday both hydrangeas panniculata were planted in Anduze vases that we placed on our terrace.

I can’t wait untill they bloom!

The weather was fine and we got a lot of sunshine which gave me the opportunity to take some pictures of our garden.

  3. HALLO RALPH!

Oh Greet, your home and gardens are just a dream. Then, as I look out my window, I see that I live in a dream as well. Our boxwoods are just FABULOUS THIS YEAR and I see that you have the same style as I do. I love my greens with stonecast urns and hydrangeas!

    MUCH LOVE TO YOU! Anita

  13. Oh your garden is divine Greet...Ralph is trés fortunate. I love hydrangeas...and have bought purple hydrangeas for our apartment here in Paris. They are very delicate though..and have to be carefully tended. Do you like my garden in Australia...it's called My Rusty Haven on my blog....rusty iron is very much an Australian thing...rusty iron roofs, tools, tractors etc...so that's why I love it in my Australian garden. A bientot.

  34. Greet, your garden is magnificent and the Paniculata will just add another touch of beauty.
Last year we planted some outside our apartment building in big containers. When they shed the leaves we put large branches of cedar tree and willows, in early spring we left the willows, now the leaves are out and soon the flowers. Beautiful display all year round.
    Come "Guess" on my blog...
