Perfect panelling

As a lot of you do know, our company LEFEVRE INTERIORS is specialized in custom made panelling. It is therefore not surprising that I am always looking for inspiring pictures of perfect panelling, preparing a sketch to design a new panelled room project.

Today I posted pictures of panelled rooms, ranging from natural or stained wooden to painted panelling, from the more traditional to the more contemporary panelled rooms.

Even a traditional styled panelling looks great in combination with modern furniture or modern art.

This first image is a Tudor styled panelling designed by Belgian architect Benoît Viaene. I do love the ‘Concetto spaziale’ painting by Lucio Fontana on this oak panelling.

Again an example of combining traditional panelling with modern furniture and modern art.

I have always loved the panelling of Parisian restaurant La Villa, decorated by French architects and designers Gilles & Boissier.

Even a dog’s room can be integrated in your panelled room !!

Tudor interiors were typically heavily paneled. This room is been given a softer look by painting the panelling, which is the perfect backdrop for contemporary designed furniture.

Who doesn’t love the Paris apartments in the Hausmannien buildings, with their high ceiling panelled rooms?

Have you ever thought about panelling your kitchen?

These pictures here show a sneak peek of a room we panelled not so long ago.

You will see the image of a panelled room that inspired me to design this room.

Photographer Claude Smekens has taken pictures of the room last week and I will come back to you later to show the entire finished room.

  3. Hi Greet! What a beautiful post, am a huge fan of paneling these examples are perfection. Hope you are great!!

  4. I would love to hide my fridge behind a door as I think the whole kitchen looks much neater. You've made some more great choices and although having less wall cabinets has saved you money, I also think it makes the kitchen look bigger and as you say, you can put up other things, like open shelves maybe ?
Toile inside your drawers and cabinets - love it !

  5. I adore that example with the walnutbpanelling. Itis divine!!

  6. Hello Greet,
    Great images.
I think panelled walls create such interest in a room don't you?
Hope you have a lovely week,
    Liz x
