Belgian style sofas

Belgian styled sofas seem to be very popular. They are seen in a lot of projects by interior designers from Belgium and abroad.

A lot of the sofas are covered in Belgian linen.

In the middle of preparing this blogpost today, I received the latest blogpost of Joni, author of the blog Cote de Texas and I couldn’t resist to take over this picture of her interesting post about a brand new interior design Magazine MILIEU, that will be on the stands this fall.

  5. Is there anything that I don't like from Belgium? Well, I don't think so... :-)

I love these sofas, especially the "Ralph" from your design. That's simply incredible, Greet.

My friend, I really meant to write to you before. I want to thank you from my heart for the last comment you wrote to me. All of that coming from you... oh, wow! I can't even tell you how much that meant to me. Honestly.

Thank you for your friendship and for all of your help. You're someone I treasure and adore.

Have a very blessed 2013, Greet.

  8. Hello Greet,
I too adore Belgian linen sofas. The images you have shown are wonderful.
At the moment I am studying the Libeco linen website, for a couple of things we need recovering here. I can't decide whether of not to take the plunge. I know you are a fan.
    Have a lovely day,

    Lieve groet, Ingrid

  10. Hi Greet, I noticed the sofa in the Millieu mini magazine which Joni posted yesterday, it looks such a beautiful magazine, pity we can't get it here in Belgium. Do you still have the snow there too? It's awfully cold and we have two rooms being fully renovated, our bedroom and bathroom (as you probably saw on my FB page) and yesterday no central verwarming for a few hours! Bbbrrhhhhhh! Keep warm and snuggly!

  11. Greet,
Such beautiful rooms. I love the style of each of these sofas, are the Belgian by the fact that they are upholstered with Belgian linen or is there a particular style involved that makes them Belgian style? Either way, the examples you've shared are lovely and there is more than one that I would happily have in my home.
