A taste of autumn

Good morning dear readers, I do hope you enjoyed the weekend. I realized that this was one of the last summer weekends! Within a few weeks autumn will do his entry!

All these pictures make me already think about the beautiful color palette that upcoming autumn has to offer.

  1. Love fall and the fall colors. Dread the cold winter that follows! Oh well, I guess its a good excuse to cozy up around a fireplace. -Tonya

  3. Hi Greet,
    Lovely images-Thank you.
Although it doesn't seem that we have had much of a summer here in the UK this year, I always look forward the change in season.
Image 2 with the chocolate walls and pebble stone floor is a great look.
    Have a lovely day,

  5. Hello from Arles!

I have been whining a lot lately about how tired I am of the summer without end--bring on Autumn!!! And I think that one of the first times that you and I "connected" was over the idea of changing up the déco a bit for different seasons so you know I am in utter agreement about that. These rooms are all inspiring to no end. Hmmm, time to visit the pillow cupboard to see what I can pull out. :)
    Bisous,

  7. Greetings dear Greet...from the city of endless summer...well, almost. I hope you have enjoyed a wonderful summer...I know there have been some brutal heat waves over there and we have had our share of heat and drought over here so while most of us are looking forward to Autumn I have been tucked away here in Santa Barbara most of the summer in near perfect weather with family from hotter regions flocking here for relief, so I don't yearn for fall like most...somewhere in early October it usually hits me and it is indeed the perfect excuse to change the mood a bit in our home decor...so your selections are most inspiring. I have been a bit absent from commenting etc. as my husband had a serious mountain bike accident and was hospitalized with a crushed rib cage, collapsed lung and so on...thankfully no head injuries but his helmet was cracked to bits...long mending period so he has been working from home for the past couple of months...happy to have him in my space and so grateful his injuries were not more serious but in some ways it is like having a child home to tend to again-- LOL-- so not much time left over to luxuriate in the blog world. Looking forward to getting back to normal...whatever that is...and spending more time checking in on your always beautiful blog!

    Best,

    Jermaine

  14. Greet,
My favorite season! These rooms and other like them are one of my favorite things about autumn. The cozy, inviting fire in the fireplace, the comfort of a overstuffed chair, the small seasonal touches in the home, what could be better? :-)
