Since our Belgian decorator and antiques dealer Axel Vervoordt introduced the world to his slipcovered seats and chairs, a lot of renown Belgian as international designers loved his idea and introduced their seats and chairs, covered with Belgian linen, to their clients.
The pictures of today are all of sofas and chairs by Belgian interior design companies. I do hope they will inspire you!

Hi Greet, I stopped by Natalie's place on Friday afternoon, she told me that you were there there earlier, so close to meeting you. Doesn't her place look wonderful? Love the post. x
ReplyDeleteVooral de eerste en de zesde foto vind ik heel erg mooi, een prachtige stijl!
ReplyDeleteNog een fijne dag Greet! Lieve groet, Ingrid
Thank you for sharing these companies. I love so much here. I think this linen company is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI just made bath size monogrammed linen towels for my daughter and myself, and they are so beautiful. Making a perfect rectangle is more difficult than people know, but I did. I thought about you and your country while making them.
Happy Monday, Greet!

ReplyDeleteNow, I know that you aren't going to believe me or think that I am saying this just to make you blush but yours was my favorite! Truly! I was already going "oooh" when I scrolled down and saw Lefevre Interiors. :)
ReplyDeleteBut I do love all of it. I would absolutely do this in our home if I could afford to. It is so perfect for Provence!
Hello, Greet ~
ReplyDeleteThank you for featuring all of my favorite Belgian designers! Do you have the books from Walda Pairon? I love them, especially her first book. And, I'm looking forward to visiting Axel Vervoordt one day. I think he is a genius! His sofas and chairs are so famous. Cheers, Loi
Hi Greet, Beautiful photos! I am a big fan of Axel Vervoordt's and love the look of his upholstery. I am also fascinated with mounted antlers right now - hope you don’t mind if I pin the photo of your sitting room. All best, Phyllis
ReplyDeleteHi Greet, so many beautiful pictures. I must say my favorites are always those of your house! Sooo beautiful and inspiring. Hope all is well with you.
ReplyDeleteWell Greet ,I definetely find isnpiration in every single picture,- either the whole room or details in some of the pictures.Just love the style...
ReplyDelete<Tovehugs:)
Belgian Linen is indeed very beautiful, Greet. So, Belgian linen slip covers must be fabulous, they certainly do look fabulous. I do love slipcovers, ever since making my own. I adore the child size wing back chair in one of the photos.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day, my friend.
Hugs, Cindy
I love al these rooms and the linen, each room offers something different. The first room by Brigitte & Alain Garnier, two of my favorite, I love the versatility they offer with the double coffee tables shoved together. Axel Vervoordt always shows a clean following space and I love where he used the orange on the walls. But Walda Pairon in using several different tones of linens is what grabbed my attention. But yours was by far my favorite I love your orangery.

BONJOUR MA CHÈRE! Lovely interiors as always my friend! Anita
ReplyDeleteIts the details of our lives I think that in some respects make the impact. Its only once in a while the big picture matters. I loves these photos of the details.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Cream Belgian linen...it's very hard to beat....had a vintage lampshade recovered in cream Belgian linen and it looks divine...now all I need is the sofa!
ReplyDeleteGreet,
ReplyDeleteL'orangerie est belle !
J'aime bien les coussins à motifs et les peaux de bêtes, l'ensemble des couleurs aussi !
À bientôt,
