I had to make a choice from all these gorgeous properties on the Unique Home Stays website, which was quite difficult!

If you are like me and you love to spend some time at the country side, you definitely will love the UK properties , I picked out to show you today.

I decided to start with my favorite property Saddlewood Manor.

A stunning large country manor house at the foot of the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains.Set in 50 acres flanked by a river on the south side

Relax and enjoy, a combination of traditional grandeur and modern order make this the perfect house party property.

The house is set in 50 acres of beautifully wild gardens and private parkland. The grounds boast large lawns stretching down to the Triffrwd River, and to the left of the house is a large Edwardian stable block with its own courtyard. There is also a walled garden, Victorian vine house, shrubbery, rose border, croquet lawn, marquee lawn and parking.

Unique Home Stays Minstrels Manor

This 15th century Hall House come Jacobean Manor has been sensitively restored to boast much of its original character. Kick back in eccentric luxury and enjoy large open fires, huge rooms and expansive views of the Black Mountains and Wye Valley.

There is an array of old stone barns, a pair of charming stone towers and, in the middle of a field, the impressive remains of what was once the main entrance to the property. Surrounded by farmland, you’ll only have sheep for company at this property.

Historic and eccentric, with quirky features such as a minstrels' gallery, a coffin bath, a bath tub made from a traditional wine vat and original artworks.

Wow! I'd love to spend my vacation at any one of these beautiful homes! Actually, I don't think I could choose just one, so I'd have to spend a week at each of them :-) The grounds of the first three are stunning, and love the touch of contemporary at the fourth. Thanks for sharing the great eye candy :-)

YOUR STYLE of living is my absolute favorite; I am a Francophile when it comes to languages, food, décor, fashion, just about EVERYTHING! But your style of home décor and gardens takes the French style and tones it down just enough to find the RIGHT style for me. Neutral tones, no IMITATION things, calming and classic rooms...so wonderful. HOW IS YOUR HORSEBACK RIDING GOING? How I wish I could start, but I am NO WHERE NEAR stables nor do I have the time. All fabulous, each with their own special appeal. What a wonderful way to see the Britain!! I once wrote about Vivat - a trust that takes historic homes and redoes them for rental, using the funds to keep up these otherwise neglected historic sites. Although not as grand as many of these, it's another way to enjoy staying in a home while visiting Great Britain.
