Display cabinets

I have always loved display cabinets. They add a cozy feeling to your dining room or kitchen and showcase the taste of the owner.

You can change your displays by season if you like.

  3. Weeral prachtige foto's. De open kasten ben ik niet zo een favoriet van ( te veel stof afvegen)
Maar die vitrinekasten met glazen deuren vind ik geweldig. Bij mij thuis staat daar zilver en glas in.

  5. Love the cabinet with the chicken wire it helps the display from being to serious. We're lucky enough to live in an old house that has the cabinet already built in and I love it.

Enjoy the rest of your week Greet!

  8. Such charming display cabinets. I especially like the built in cabinets in the kitchen pic via Maison Charmante. Glass doors are a must-have for me. It cuts down on dusting and polishing.
    Have a lovely day, Greet!

  12. Love everything about them except for the dust and having to clean everything out often in a very sunny room. Beautiful examples of them.

  13. Charles Spada is one of our favorite showrooms here in Boston! They ALWAYS have wonderful pieces to choose from. The twist of the handrail as it comes to the floor landing is a delight to the eye in the Spada shot. I've got to file away the sink idea - that's terrific! As is the pop of color in yrou image.

    Cheers,
    John

  21. What beautiful examples, all of them! I thought you would be interested to know, the 3rd picture is the home of Appley Hoare, a British dealer in French antiques. You can find a blog post about her here - http://pigtown-design.blogspot.com/2010/08/appley-hoare-house-in-france-for-rent.html. You would love her style. 22. As always a beautiful post with scrummy photos! I just bought a beautiful pale oak display cabinet with storage below from Flammant I think they call it a bibliotheek kast (sorry about the spelling) and I have to say that it is a great way to create the small vignettes that I so love, plus storage beneath for a couple of our dinner services. Love this post thank you for sharing Greet and have a great weekend. Angela

  26. You found some gorgeous display cabinet images today. I love them all except for the built in display shelves, (10th from the top) well, they are gorgeous, but somehow the super modern kitchen cabinets ruin the whole feel of the room. Some love the mixed look, but I don't think I like that one.
    Interesting post!

  38. Oh I love all image!!This is excellent. Thank you.
if you have a contemporary styled living room you might want to look at the variety of glass display cabinets that are available. You can find several types that have a metal base unit with glass doors for displaying your items. The metal base can be in chrome or black to match the modern look of your furnishings. You can also use display cabinets in the kitchen to show off your collectible dishes. You can find hutch styles wood cabinets that have glass doors for keeping your collectible dishes safe from accumulating dust.
