Choose your French holiday hotel

Because the weather in Belgium is not fabulous at all the last days, I was skimming through some holiday resort magazines this weekend ! I started dreaming about spending my holidays in one of the many beautiful and charming “escapades” I came across in the Maisons Coté Sud/Est/Ouest (edition June 2010). So if the weather in Belgium remains bad, we will not hesitate to pack our bags…!

I couldn’t resist to post about a few of them. The hotels -and even a wonderful camping!- are all situated throughout France.

Of each hotel I post here today, I will show you only 3 pictures, to arouse your curiosity!!!  Two pictures of the exterior or the environment and one picture of a bedroom.

For more information and images you can visit the website of the particular hotel by clicking on the name of the hotel ABOVE the belonging pictures!

Here we go!!!

  3. Do you know Chateau Talaud in Provence, it's an amazing elegant small hotel. You can hire a chef or you can cook yourself. Their site is chateautalaud.com. It is one of those litte hidden gems in the midle of the lavender fields.

  7. Hello Greet !

  29. I'd love a week at each. How could I ever choose? They are all charming. I would start with Saint-Benoît des Ondes because of those the romantic outdoor dining tables where we could linger over dinner. But I also love the poolside at Chateau de Saint- Paterne. Oooh beautiful!

  35. Thanks for the mental getaway! I was dreaming of Provence yesterday (posted a bistro pic I took in Mougins years ago, and as I stared at it, I could almost smell the food and Provence air!).

I've always wanted to stay at Crillon le Brave in Provence. Pricey since it's a Relais & Chateau, but gorgeous. I toured it, but have never stayed there. Some day!

    Merci pour les images!

  39. If I were given the chance to choose where to live among these places, it'll take a lifetime for me to decide. I mean, every place is stunning in a different way! Even my husband who loves to travel would find it difficult to choose for me… Anyway, I'd probably just use that third photo as an inspiration for our recreational/family room.
