The kitchens I show here all almost dining rooms! I might think that if you have a kitchen like these, you would’t need a dining room anymore…!?
A beautiful crystal chandelier above that table.

White linen slip covers for these kitchen chairs!!
Charming isn’t it?

Warm colours used in this kitchen.
Beautiful glass candleholders on the table.

A good idea to paint the kitchen in 2 colours.
Love, love the green painted cabinet!

Groetjes

These are fabulous!! I have been saying for over a year that I want a moose or elk head to hang in my kitchen (I have two opposing walls that reach 18 feet at the peak so I need something big) and everyone keeps saying I'm crazy. But these trophy heads are beautiful in these kitchens! I'm not crazy!! Thank you Greet.
ReplyDeleteHi Greet,
ReplyDeleteGreat selection all of them so,so wonderful.

Cecilia
Proficiat !
Geweldige sfeer in die keukens Greet. Het goede leven van rust en genieten. Heb zelf jaren geleden ook 's mijn keuken in 2 kleuren gehad, onderkant zwart/blauw en bovenkant roomwit. Mooi en daardoor leek de keuken langer.
ReplyDeleteFijne Pinksterdagen,
Petra
These are all beautiful and inspiring kitchens!
ReplyDeleteKat :)

Thanks Greet... you always have such wonderful photos to share! These kitchens are not your typical soup du jour made by the standard recipe...
ReplyDeleteTerrific images Greet. So many beautiful details and such personality. I'm thrilled to see spaces without upper cabinets.

Beautiful images...some of them I could set up home in...like forever.
ReplyDeletelove that kitchen with those wall scones and the black iron window in contrast to it!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous kicthens! Do you know the source of the photo with the swedish chairs?
ReplyDeleteFantastic post! My favorite is image number 6. I think the use of a few worn unpainted wood planks is what really makes it.
ReplyDeleteGreet, what a collection of loveliness! I am all for getting rid of my own formal dining room and moving guests into the kitchen. And with rooms like these - they would never leave!
ReplyDeleteox, Mon
Greet, These kitchen/dining rooms are all very beautiful. I don't think I could pick a favourite, xv.

Hello my friend,
ReplyDeleteThose are some really beautiful kitchens, very cozy and pretty. It's so fun to see how people in other countries decorate and design something as common as the kitchen. I love all of the chandeliers, I still want one over my table.
Hugs, Cindy S
Lieve groet, Mea
Fantastic! Really loved that amazing plate display!
ReplyDeleteI've left the states and I'm on my way to Belgium. I tried to leave a comment earlier today but not sure what happened. I had told you I don't even want to live here anymore. These kitchens are so fabulous. Tonight with more time, I have really studied them and am even more in love with these designs. You are so right. Who needs a dining room? Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreet,
ReplyDeleteWow. All these are just amazing. I've been so busy and out of touch. So sorry. Hope you are well.
HI Greet
ReplyDeleteWell you have spoilt us with a wonderful range of styles here.. it is hard to pick a favourite.. though I do so love Tolix chairs..
Thanks for popping by... I've been falling behind in blogging these days but always great to catch up with friends.... have a lovely day xx Julie
Greet, FABulous images, as always!..considering how much time we spend in our kitchens, we might as well make them comfortable but ALSO beautiful! oxox
ReplyDeleteEach one has it's own character.. wonderful gallery Greet - thanks for always keeping the inspiration coming..g
ReplyDeleteThe plate display is incredible.....smiles.
ReplyDeleteFabulous round up of images. I am revamping my kitchen now and these are so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteWith kitchens like these being designed today, the poor formal dining room is going out of fashion. Everybody loves to eat in the kitchen.
xo xo
Hallo Greet,
ReplyDeleteLove the teapot! Mooie sfeerbeelden zo bijelkaar. Zulke grote keukens kan ik alleen maar van dromen helaas.
Hartelijke groet, Franca
Hello Greet - what an amazing collection of images!
ReplyDeleteI love kitchens like these and not just for the obvious grandness of them all, but for the fact that they are rooms to spend time in. Not only cook and eat, but really socialize and gather in. I have always thought that kitchens are the heart of the house and usually the best room of any home. It's the spine of our little family quartet for sure.
Happy weekend. Hope the sun is beaming down on you in Belgium!
xx Charlotta
What a lovely post and a lovely blog! Thank you for sharing all these gorgeous photos! Laila
ReplyDeleteOh my! I cannot get over the first and last kitchen. The first, being so glamorous, has so many lovely features and details – it's simply breath taking! The last – so calm and serene, and simple in its own way. The colors are divine. Thank you for sharing. I typically do not like kitchens, but these are fantastic. Going to print my favorites off now...
ReplyDelete:)
Wunderschoen, Danke Greet, Ika
