So in this post I will show you some images of Belgian interiors and on below each image, I like to show you the furniture and decorative items from the Restoration Hardware catalogue that I would choose to match with each interior on the particular image.

  3. Greet,

What a wonderfully helpful post. When the Restoration Hardware catalogue came out, I was so excited. But some of the pieces (like the 48" tall lantern that I coveted) didn't seem very practical or applicable to many people's homes or lifestyles. With this post, you've combined practicality with the simple beauty of belgian design in a way that the novice decorator can apply. Thank you. Jenny C.

  4. Hi Greet. I just love all your pictures...where do we get the chandeliers! Does Belgian style do rock crystal on chandeliers...a frosty look? In process of redoing living room, have an open beam ceiling that dictates a certain neutral scheme (no pink and orange drapes here!)...love the mix of wood and stone in picture 9. Thank you, as always, for a wonderful post. Trish

  10. These are lovely images and great ideas for incorporating Belgian style into a home. I am drawn more and more to Belgian design and your site offers the most original and beautiful photos. My favorites are those of the spare interiors with the elaborate crystal chandeliers--the contrast between the two is so interesting to me.

  12. So glad you did this post! I've been looking at some of the RH furniture to add to my home. Normally I seek out one of a kind or antique pieces, but the RH dining tables and the shuttered cabinets have definately caught my eye. The tables are quite beautiful and well crafted. I've not seen the cabinets - as they are not in the showroom yet.
    Cheers!

  15. I never knew Restoration Hardware had so much "Belgian Look." My fav example room is number 9 - but the taupe tufted dining chair from RH is the piece I like best. Wonderfully versatile (and comfy). Just discovered your blog on Little Augury - enjoy your posts!

  20. Greet -

I have so enjoyed reading through your blog this morning (I'm in the U.S.). I love the muted, earthy palettes of Belgian interiors. Sophisticated, soft, and full of depth. Beautiful!

I would love to use one of your images - the last "after" cabinet photos from your client's bedroom before & after. Would you mind if I post the photo on my blog along with a link to your blog and business?

    Thank you!!!
